Bowers Hill is a large secluded Edwardian farmhouse in an idylic Cotswold country location just over 3 miles from Broadway and 1.5 miles from Willersey. This Cotswold accommodation with a period property with flagstone floors, bread oven, beamed ceilings and walls exudes a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere which our guests really appreciate at the end of the day, away from all the busy tourist spots. Peace and tranquillity is guaranteed along with an experience of the real British country life. Relax in our large garden or conservatory and watch all the birdlife enjoying the surroundings.

As you travel along the ½ mile-long drive to the farm, through the mature lime trees, you will see animals grazing on either side of the approach. If your visit coincides with the trees bearing their fruit in mid-summer, the hum of hundreds of bees collecting nectar will amaze you . If you are lucky you may see the green woodpecker, or even catch a glimpse of a fox or badger as evening draws to a close.

As evening draws in, sit in front of the log fire (if it's chilly) in our guest lounge, or enjoy a cool glass of wine on the patio.

All rooms have an ensuite bathroom - some rooms have both a shower and a bath and some have just a shower - if you particularly like a bath please mention this when booking. In each of our rooms you will find a TV, hairdryer, torch, tissues, tea & coffee making facilities, magazines, hot water bottle, mineral water, fresh flowers, and a view!

You can enjoy traditional English breakfast at Bowers Hill Farm. Wherever possible we always try to provide guests with local quality food, ideally produced by ourselves or sourced locally from producers we know & trust. We cater for vegetarians, special diets, and all those wishing to indulge in their favourites at breakfastime. Sarah, Martin and their son Bertie feel very privileged to live in such a lovely place and look forward to welcoming you to their family farm. As natives of the area (Martin's family have been in residence since 1904), they can tell you about local country customs, and all the beautiful Cotswold villages, gardens and other great places to visit.

Rooms Available	Please let us know whether you require a double bed or twin beds (2 separate beds). Beds are either a large superking (6'6" wide). kingsize (5'2") or standard (4'6") double beds - All rooms have an ensuite bathroom but some have a shower only and some have both a shower and a bath. Our family room has a double and single bed so this room can be a twin or sleep 3. Additional z-beds are also available.
Price Guide Including Breakfast	From £60 per room per night based on 2 people sharing and include a sumptous full English breakfast - additional £15 per child, per room. Except for deposits we make a small surcharge should you decide to 'pay by plastic': £1 for debit cards and 3% for credit cards.
Payment Details & Cancellation Policy	Because we only have a small number of rooms we regret it is necessary to impose cancellation charges. We require a deposit equal to 50% of the first night's stay at the time of booking either by credit/debit card, UK cheque or Travellers cheque. In the event of cancellation, we reserve the right to withhold the deposit and to make a full charge for the reservation if we are unable to re-let the room(s). Deposits will be refunded if 21 days notice is received.
Arrival & Departure Times	Arrival times are normally between 5pm - 6 pm in the evening but this changes to 4 pm in the darker months. If you have to arrive earlier for a wedding etc, do please let us know so we can guarantee someone is around to allow you access. Also, if your journey is delayed or even if you plan to arrive earlier than expected, please let us know, as we do like to be in our clean clothes within the house to welcome you. Farm life can be so unpredictable with so many animals on the premises we can often be called away at a moment's notice. Checkout time is 10 am on day of departure. There is some flexibility with late check-outs but do check with us first.
General Information	Ample parking. Children are welcome - cot, high chair, baby listening device and babysitting by arrangement. Whilst we welcome pets to our farm, sadly we are unable to accommodate them in the house. Some DVD's and VHS available. Free WiFi internet access. Credit & Debit Cards Accepted.
Special Requests	Please ask us if you have any specific requests and we will do our best, wherever possible, to accommodate you. We can provide non-allergic bedding so please specify this upon booking. Also, perhaps you could let us know if you wish to have a bath or if you happen to be over 6'3" so we can allocate you with the most suitable room.
