Part of the philosophy at the Cotswold House is that a hotel room should be even better than your own at home. Each of our 29 bedrooms has a character of its own, whether it overlooks the pretty high street in Chipping Campden or has a view of the tranquil hotel gardens.

Guests are greeted with fresh fruit and flowers. Most rooms boast a seven-foot bed and all have crisp linen sheets, a choice of blankets or duvets, and an exclusive 'pillow menu' to ensure an excellent night's sleep. En suite luxury bathrooms include deep baths and invigorating showers, with the final touch - thick, fluffy towels.

A refreshing cup of tea or coffee will be delivered to your door, with a complimentary newspaper - a very civilised way to prepare for a hearty, traditional breakfast and a day's sightseeing in the Cotswolds.

Juliana's fine à la carte menu, awarded three rosettes and four AA red stars - features the freshest fish with game and meat from the Cotswolds whenever possible, and seasonal produce from local producers.
