Hamiltons of Broadway was established in the Cotswold
village of Broadway in 1986 by Andrew and Sheila Campbell. The desire was to
put the fun back into buying sweets by creating an old fashioned sweet shop
selling traditional sweets and luxury hand made chocolates.
After four years of successful trading in Broadway a
second shop was opened in a new Victorian styled shopping mall, close to
Shakespeares birthplace, in Stratford-upon-Avon (5, Bard's Walk, Off Wood
Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warks, CV37 6EY Tel : 01789 299019).
During 1991 Hamiltons turned its attentions to the setting up of a factory for
the manufacture of its own exclusive range of luxury handmade chocolates. The
factory is situated close to Stratford-Upon-Avon and visitors to the factory
can, through a large picture window, see our chocolatiers at work, casting,

2002 saw the opening of the fourth old fashioned sweet shop, located in
Burfords historic high street (Hamiltons,
Christmas Court, 94 High Street Burford, OX18 4QJ. Tel : 01993 824344 )
