Hope Cottage is a traditional 2 bed semi-detached farm workers cottage completely modernised and built about 100 years ago, with direct access to the common of a quiet, idyllic Cotswold village 3 miles from both Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water. It is mentioned in the Doomsday book, and has an old church where Gustav Holst was organist in 1892-3. Stunning views to the South and West and is 100yds from the Oxfordshire Way, ideal as a base for exploring this beautiful area.
Accommodation
The First Floor comprises one Double room and one Twin/Double bedded room and a bathroom with a bath and hand held shower, wash basin and W.C.
There are stunning views through the window of the front bedroom across the Common to the distant Cotswold countryside, and on a summer's evening, table and chairs plus bbq to enjoy in the garden.
There is so much to see and do in the Cotswolds, from walking the Cotswold Way, to visiting some of the great local Houses and Gardens, or pretty villages and historical towns.
