Betty and John welcome you to Hyde Wood House where they offer Bed & Breakfast accommodation and separate Self-Catering accommodation in the Woolsack. Originally built as a working farmhouse, Hyde Wood House is a comfortable and welcoming family home and still has stables that help it retain its character.

Situated approximately one mile from Minchinhampton village centre and on the edge of the Gatcombe Park Estate, Hyde Wood House provides an ideal base from which to explore this beautiful and historic area.

The house is tastefully furnished and there is a log fire in the comfortable lounge on cold winter evenings. In the summer you can sit and relax with coffee in the sunroom. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, with remote control TV and radio. Hairdryers, extra bedding, ironing facilities and complimentary beverages are available on request. Breakfast is by prior arrangement, early or late to suit your day. A farmhouse style breakfast cooked on the Aga or a lighter breakfast if you prefer.

The Woolsack is a spacious self-contained first floor holiday
home, at the rear of Hyde Wood House and is ideal for couples wishing to seek
the peace of the countryside. The ground floor utility room with automatic
washing machine leads via a spindled staircase to an open plan kitchen and
dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric cooker, microwave
and fridge. The lounge is comfortable furnished and equipped with a TV and
audio entertainment system. The double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, and
all bed linen and towels are included.

After a day sightseeing in the Cotswolds guests can come home and relax in comfortable sunloungers on the patio or stroll in the garden. You may be lucky and find Richard attending to the horses we have here in our stables.
