The Lamb is everyone's dream of what an ancient English

The Lamb dates back to the 15th Century and to step inside is to step back
in history with its flag stone floors, gleaming copper, brass and silver
reflecting the flicker of log fires and antiques that glow with age.
Outside there is a stunning courtyard and walled garden,
ideal for dining al fresco in the warmer months.
The Inn sits in a tranquil setting in Sheep Street, with its fine
architecture and wide grass verges.
The Lamb Inn has 15 bedrooms, including one with a
four-poster bed that is steeped in history. The others offer a choice of twin
or double beds or a two bedroom suite. All our bedrooms are en-suite and very
comfortable. Many of them have views onto the leafy side streets of Burford,
while others look out onto the sheltered courtyard at the heart of the hotel.
The peaceful location of The Lamb Inn means that whichever room you choose, you
can be sure of a restful, quiet night’s sleep.

All bedrooms have en-suite bath/shower, colour television & direct
dial telephone, tea making facilities, homemade biscuits, fresh fruit and
complimentary mineral water.
The above rates are per room per night based on two people sharing (except for
single rates) and include VAT. These rates are not available during Christmas,
New Year, Valentines, Easter and Cheltenham Gold Cup and are subject to
availability.
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required when making a booking to guarantee
your reservation. We regret that due to our limited number of rooms, it is
necessary to impose strict cancellation charges. Cancellation made less than 72
hours prior to the arrival date will result in a charge equivalent to the value
of the first night's stay.
Book Your Dinner in Advance and Save
Book your dinner in advance for only £27.50 per resident. A three-course
dinner in our restaurant is normally £32.50 per person. However, by
booking your table in the restaurant when reserving your accommodation, you
save £5 per person.
