The Old Stationhouse
![]() |
The Station Master's house was built at the end of the 19th Century using traditional Cotswold stone. Broadway was then a halt on the picturesque railway line running from Stratford upon Avon to Cheltenham. In 1962 the line was closed and the Station Master's house was sold and eventually became a Guest House. The rail track was removed but the bed remains and has become a popular walk and haven for wildlife.

The Old Stationhouse has six comfortable bedrooms. These are all en-suite with colour TVs, fridges, hairdryers and beverage facilities. Single occupancy rooms are priced from £45 and double rooms are priced from £60.
|
|
We have ample safe parking well away from the road. The
grounds extend to an acre and our guests are invited to use the large garden
and orchard.
The comfortable guests' lounge overlooks the front garden and has an open fire
for chilly winter evenings. A substantial breakfast is served in the light and
airy dining room which also looks out onto the garden.

|
The Old Stationhouse is approached by a private drive shaded by ranks of Scots pines dating from the construction of the railway. The situation is quiet and secluded and approximately 10 minutes level walk from the many pubs and restaurants in the centre of Broadway.
