WASHBOURNE COURT HOTEL, LOWER SLAUGHTER

Standing in four acres of grounds alongside the River Eye in the centre of Lower Slaughter is the truly magnificent 17th Century Washbourne Court Hotel. This former Eton cramming school, is an inspired mix of exciting contemporary design and handsome historic features. Traditional beamed ceilings, stone mullioned windows and the most magnificent fireplace in the bar, all harmonise with a restaurant style that is both bold and contemporary whilst being wonderfully comfortable.

At Washbourne Court, the quality of the food, the finest of classics French style cuisine, is a magnet for discerning ‘foodies’ throughout the Cotswolds and beyond. For fine dining Eton's Restaurant is exceptionally stylish, or choose the luxuriously trendy Scholar's Lounge, where guests love to graze the delicious bar menu or lounge over a latte, a pot of tea or something a little stronger. There's also a superb private dining room available for those extra special occasions; private parties, management meetings, themed evenings, or civil ceremonies, which can cater for up to 50 people.

We welcome children of all ages.
Children may eat in the Eton’s restaurant but this is at the duty managers discretion.

Cancellation Policy
Reservations: With respect we require all reservations to be guaranteed with a credit card. We accept American Express, Diners Club, Mastercard, Visa and Switch.
Cancellation Policy:In the event of cancellation, should notification be received less than ten days prior to the arrival date, excluding Christmas, New Year and Cheltenham Festival, or in the event of non arrival or curtailment of stay, reservations must regretfully be changed in full unless we are able to re-let the room.
We regret that no refund is possible for any meals not taken under the dinner, bed and breakfast terms.
