Wool Day at Broadway Museum & Art Gallery

An all day event with talks and demonstrations  Admission is included in the cost of your museum ticket. 10.00am – 5.00pm (Last entry at 4.30pm)

A day of wool displays & talks to celebrate Broadway’s wool heritage. Join Judy Buckingham & Ruth Power, experienced weavers, who will demonstrate and explain the craft of hand spinning and weaving wool from the raw fleece to the finished article. Members of the Northleach Spinners & Weavers group will also be at the museum to help us to discover the story ‘From Sheep to Shop’. Children are welcome to have a go at teasing and carding the wool.
