Micro-Sculptures In The Eye Of A Needle: Exhibition at Broadway Museum and Art Gallery

  • Broadway Museum & Art Gallery 65 High Street Broadway, England, WR12 7DP United Kingdom (map)

Visitors to the museum will be among the first to view 20 micro-sculptures by internationally renowned Dr Willard Wigan MBE - a self-taught artist, famous for creating the World’s smallest sculptures. He is listed in the Guinness Book of Records for the smallest artworks in history and awarded an MBE for his services to art. Sculptures are smaller than a grain of sand and completely invisible to the naked eye. As such, the needles are presented in a microscope for visitors of all ages to enjoy.

The exhibition is a collaboration between Broadway Museum and Art Gallery & Broadway Luxury a neighbouring art, home and lifestyle showroom, which currently houses two of the micro-sculptures.

You can see Willard at work, on Channel 4 catch up go World’s Tiniest Masterpieces.
