Buckland Manor Hotel

Buckland Manor, set in glorious grounds, dates back to the thirteenth century, and this fine old house has been tastefully converted into a luxurious hotel. Guests can relax before warming log fires in the panelled sitting room and enjoy antiques reflecting the tastes of several centuries.

The dining room is an oasis of calm, where guests can linger over lunch or enjoy a leisurely dinner overlooking the magnificent view of the rolling Cotswold hills. The superb cuisine at Buckland Manor has won many accolades over the years, and continues to attract connoisseurs of fine food and wine from around the world. The dress code for dinner and Sunday lunch is smart casual and we ask that gentlemen wear a jacket in the dining room please.

The fifteen bedrooms at Buckland Manor all come with crisp white linen, plumped up pillows and super-comfy beds to guarantee that perfect night's slumber. Some bedrooms have four-poster beds and fireplaces and all the bathrooms use water drawn from the Manor's own spring. Interior design reflects the history of the house, and rooms are furnished with antiques and fine fabrics. The rooms are split into five categories ranging from Classic to Master Rooms.

The warm glow of Buckland Manor's Cotswold stone is reflected in St. Michael's church. This beautiful building is accessible through the hotel's own gate, and its history is closely entwined with that of the manor house. The delightful gardens at Buckland Manor offer guests the peace and tranquility much sought after in the modern world. The Manor grounds also contain croquet lawns and tennis courts. For golfing guests there is an 18-hole course at nearby Broadway.
