Cotswold Lavender

Lavender was first grown at Hill Barn Farm, Snowshill near Broadway, in 2000 and we now have over 35 different varieties, some 70 miles of rows and 250,000 plants in total. Walk the lavender fields to see the range of different types, and visit the distillery where each summer, the lavender is harvested and the essential oils gently extracted using just rainwater. The flowering time for lavender very much depends on the weather. In a typical English summer the lavender fields should start to come into flower early – mid June. We only open to the public when the lavender is in flower which is usually June, July and

The shop, located in a beautiful Cotswold stone barn, has a range of essential oils as well as soaps, hand creams, and a whole range of toiletries made from the oils grown on the farm, as well as an enormous range of lavender plants for the garden.
The tea room is open for light lunches as well morning coffee and cream teas. A rare speciality is lavender scones, and the lavender cake is certainly not to be missed.
