CJP Cotswold Tours was first established in 2002 and is a family-run business owned and operated by Chris and Ruth, who are married with two daughters.They provide private cultural and sightseeing tours of the Cotswolds and other areas of the UK.
Chris and his team of guides live locally and are experienced professional drivers. Having lived in the area for 45 years, they are very familiar with those ‘off-the-beaten-track’ and easily missed locations.
Their private driver guided tours give you the freedom to discover the beauty and charm of the region, whilst enjoying the view from the comfort of their 4 private touring vehicles, which can accommodate from 4 to 7 passengers to travel in both safety and comfort.

The tour start points are flexible and can be made to work with your travel plans. CJP tours can collect and return you at a location convenient for you. This could be a local hotel, or other accommodation in the Cotswolds, one of the local train stations such as Honeybourne or Moreton-in-Marsh (they are happy to help advise on train times), or a UK airport, seaport, or other UK city or accommodation location.

A Full Day (8 hours) Tour of the Northern Cotswolds - With a sample itinerary of: Chipping Campden, Broad Campden,
Broadway Village & Tower, Bourton-on-the-Water, The Slaughters, Winchcombe, Stow-on-the-Wold, Blockley, Stanton and Stanway. Sample/Start price – from £475.00 per day for vehicle and private guide with a local collection/drop-off point.
A Full Day (8 hours) Tour of the Southern Cotswolds - With a sample itinerary of: Cirencester, Tetbury, Castle Combe, Bibury & Arlington Row, Lacock, Bath, Coln St Denis & Rogers, Barnsley, Barringtons, Teignton, Burford, Chedworth and Winson.
A Full Day (8 hours) Royalty in the Northern Cotswolds - With itinerary including: Moreton-in-Marsh, Stow-on-the-Wold, Chipping Campden, Broadway Village & Tower, Winchcombe, Sudeley Castle (with a private bespoke tour of the Castle and afternoon tea), and The Slaughters. Price (Minimum 2 people) – £675.00. Extra £85.00 per additional person, up to 7 passengers total, with a local collection/drop-off point.
This tour has an optional upgrade (9 hour day 10.30am -7.30pm) including a Champagne afternoon tea at The Lygon Arms, an after hours private bespoke tour of Sudeley Castle, including visit to private family rooms not open to the public (and potential to meet family butler, subject to availability) plus a drinks & canapés in the Castle Library. Availability on request. Operating 4 March – 22 December (as per Sudeley Castle 2019 opening dates). Price (Minimum 2 people) – £1,050.00. Extra £100.00 per additional person, up to 7 passengers total, with a local collection/drop-off point.
