This year’s festival will be the sixth annual Broadway Food Festival and attracts local residents and visitors from further afield - more than 5000 in 2018. Local artisan producers have about 35 stalls in a marquee and an additional dozen or so mostly “food to go” stands are outside on the green.

The original aim of the festival was to showcase the wealth of local of food and drink that can be purchased all year round in Broadway’s shops and eateries. This remains the core of the event and its success. This year’s stallholders include: bakers, bee keepers, brewers, cheese makers, confectioners, curers, distillers, farmers, food oil producers, fruit & vegetable growers, pie makers, vintners, and many more. The outside stands include: ice cream, salt beef bagels, Indian street food, pig roast, coffee, crepes, pan Asian veg street food, Longhorn burgers, Caribbean curry, mini Dutch pancakes, cocktails, real ale and more!

These stallholders and stands are carefully selected from a deluge of applicants, with a careful eye given to quality, variety, & innovation.

Priority is given to those who meet the following criteria:
* The business must be based within 30 miles of Broadway.
* The food/drink must be grown/produced within 30 miles of Broadway
* The products must be available all year round in Broadway shops, cafes, pubs
or restaurants.

Broadway Food Festival also includes a programme of very popular cooking demonstrations given by chefs from our excellent hotels and restaurants, as well as tasting sessions pairing local food and drink products.

The food festival is run by a small team of volunteers which are enthusiastic members of Broadway Business Association.

Enjoy a day pottering around a pretty Cotswold village with all sorts of lovely foodie treats.
