Housed in a meticulously restored 17th-century building, The House of George blends period charm with contemporary luxury across 10 individually designed bedrooms showcasing Davies' signature style, as well as MODA, a ground-breaking fine dining restaurant concept showcasing local British cuisine with Nordic influence, an intimate private dining room seating up to 10 guests and a cocktail lounge with a bespoke drinks menu.

At MODA, dining becomes an act of style. Inspired by George’s world of fashion and travel, the 30-cover restaurant pairs the Cotswolds’ finest ingredients with bold culinary influences. Sophisticated, intimate, and uncompromisingly creative — open daily for lunch and dinner.

Led by Head Chef James Wilson—formerly of The Newt in Somerset—the team at MODA crafts exceptional tasting and à la carte menus, delivering a fine dining experience that is both refined and approachable, and rarely found in the Cotswolds.

MODA restaurant is open to both residents and outside diners, for lunch and dinner seven days a week. In summer months the stunning terrace surrounded by greenery will be a draw for balmy evening drinks or outside dining.

Drawing on training with some of Scandinavia and the UK’s most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs, James creates dishes that celebrate the best of British cuisine, allowing each ingredient to shine through a balance of simplicity and artistry.
