Your chance to draw or paint our beautiful Cotswolds village for the day and be in with a chance of winning great prizes along with other artists from across the UK! This is a very popular event that attracts both professional and emerging artists.

Judges in 2026 will include the Festival Artist in Residence, Claire Henley, who will walk the village to chat with the artists during the day. Numerous main prizes plus a visitors’ choice prize voted on by visitors to the free exhibition of entries at the end of the afternoon.

NOTE: there will also be a separate Portrait Paint-Off at the Lifford Hall during the day for those who prefer painting people rather than en plein air!
